About Development Service for Afghan's Rural Urban Organization:

Development Service for Afghan’s Rural and Urban Organization (DSARUO) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that works for humanity in need, with focus on women and children and is formally registered with The Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan in the year 2011 working in various fields of, Wash, Agriculture, Education, Training, Shelter, Protection, Health, Hygienic Programs, Gender Equality, Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Relief. Development Service for Afghan's Rural and Urban Organization (DSARUO) provided humanitarian and development services for both urban and rural population of Afghanistan with selfless dedication and passion and with complete attention and concentration, attended by many influential and well-intentioned people of the time. DSARUO has performed, executed and well accomplished several different and various projects on some above-mentioned and afore-mentioned areas of works and projects.


Job Description:

The administration Officer is responsible for  various administrative and procurement responsibilities, including preparing necessary documents for project implementation, supporting procurement processes, arranging meetings and maintaining office supplies, updating log books, managing personnel and vehicle arrangements, assisting in procurements, controlling inventory, managing office stationery, ensuring legal obligations and utility bill payments are fulfilled, maintaining staff attendance and leave records, as well as coordinating district-level reports for timely submission to the provincial office. The administration officer will also contribute to the organization's commitment to preventing Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) by integrating PSEA principles into their work.


Job Requirements:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To prepare administration, financial and procurement documents required to ensure smooth implementation of the project, e.g., supply requisition forms, comparative statements, payment vouchers, casual workers contracts etc.
  • To support procurement process of items required for the implementation of the activities including maintaining purchasing documentation, participate in purchasing committees, collecting quotations, checking the quality of the equipment and materials etc.
  • To look after arrangement of meetings, workshops, and conferences of the related office order and maintain office supplies and equipment
  • To keep generator and vehicle log books updated
  • All the documents must be Kept in hard and soft.
  • To look after arrangement of personnel, vehicles, keys of the gates of the office, staff house, guest house, correspondence, and other files and keeping them proper and update manually and computerized.
  • To control the recording and updating inventory of the fixed assets of main office, Guesthouses and in the field offices
  • To look after providing, distributing and keeping proper balance and update of office stationery
  • To ensure all legal obligation of Offices and guest house (lease agreement, maintenance contracts) are Copied Scanned and fulfilled and renewed in a timely manner
  • To ensure that all utility bills copied, scanned (electricity, water, telephones, internet and etc.) are paid on time.
  • Maintain staff attendance and leave register.
  • Coordinate the compilation of all district level reports, ensuring that the reports are received by the provincial office in a timely manner.
  • Perform any other related duties assigned by the head supervisor
