Food Distributor (Multiple Vacancies) in Nuristan

Job Description:

Scope of Work:

The Nutrition Food distributor will be responsible to arrange the stock, distribute the Nutrition Food for PLWs.  Food distributor will closely Coordination with HF staff and clients, he will collect the statistic report from OPD MAM sites.

Main Responsibilities:

• The distributor/storekeeper will maintain distribution of WFP food and Micronutrients in the relevant health facility.
• Arrange the PLWs (Pregnant and Lactating Women) for distribution of food.
•  Registration of PLWs in Food distribution registers.
•  Regular physical check and verification of the food items and immediately report any food discrepancy, damage or loss issues to head of HF or Line supervisor.
• Keeping and storing WFP Food and other Materials.
•  Ensures that food storage is done based on the proper store SOPs.
•  Update regularly the availability of the food quantity to his respective line supervisor.
• Regular attendance as per SCA  HF staff attendance HR policy.
• Prepare and submit the report on weekly and monthly basis.
• Keep update of relevant stock cards and patient’s cards
• To actively contribute to the successful development and good reputation of the SCA.
• To co-operate and assist with all units/staff for the proper maintenance.
• Any other task assigned by the line supervisor

• Any other tasks delegated by Head of HF and supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Graduation from recognized Nursing School
• Good understanding of the target area language and culture.
• Be able to work in hard-to-reach people in communities.

Experience:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience, especially within BPHS HFs or similar HFs.

Others:

• Knowledge of English language at reporting level, fluency in Pashto and/ Dari, both written and spoken.
• Honest, proactive, and well-mannered.
• Able to manage the stock.
• Able to share the weekly stock update to line manager
• Qualified local residents from nuristan  will be preferred.
